There’s something magical about learning a technique that feels completely different from what you’ve done before. Tunisian crochet sits beautifully between knitting and crochet — and once you understand the rhythm, it opens up an entirely new world of texture and possibility.

This hands-on 2-hour workshop is held in person at Craftique Studio in Cypress, TX — where you'll be guided step-by-step through the foundations of Tunisian crochet in a supportive, encouraging environment, welcoming makers from Katy, Spring, Jersey Village, Copperfield, and the greater Houston area

Required Knowledge: You need to know how to knit (cast on and knit)  or crochet (chain and single crochet)

You’ll learn:

• The forward pass & return pass rhythm

• Tunisian Simple Stitch

• Tunisian Knit Stitch (for that gorgeous knit-like look)

• A textured stitch to create visual depth

• How to manage tension and prevent curling

By the end of class, you won’t just “have tried it.”
You’ll have created a beautiful sampler swatch and gained the confidence to start your own Tunisian projects.

This class is perfect for crocheters who:

• Feel curious about Tunisian crochet but don’t know where to begin

• Love texture and want to expand their skills

• Want a guided, hands-on experience instead of figuring it out alone

✨ No materials needed.

We provide all tools and materials for use during class — including Tunisian hooks. Hooks remain at the shop, but you’ll take your yarn home with you so you can keep practicing.

Class Policies – Please Read Before Registering

Enrollment Commitment
When you register for a class, you are reserving a limited seat. Because your enrollment prevents another maker from taking that space, all class registrations are non-refundable.

Minimum Enrollment Requirement
Classes require a minimum of 2 participants to run.
If minimum enrollment is not met, the class will be canceled 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

If Craftique Studio cancels a class due to low enrollment, you may choose:

• Transfer to another class of interest

• Store credit

• Full refund

(Refunds are only issued when Craftique Studio cancels a class.)

Skill Level Responsibility
Each class lists required skills or prerequisite knowledge. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet the listed requirements.

To ensure fairness and a positive experience for all participants:

• If the instructor determines that a student does not meet the required skill level, no refunds will be issued.

• Instructors are unable to teach prerequisite skills during the scheduled class time.
