Warm Up America! (WUA!) began in 1991 with Evie Rosen, a Wisconsin yarn shop owner who made blankets for the homeless in her community. Realizing she couldn’t meet the demand alone, Evie invited others to donate 7”x9” sections to be joined into blankets. What started as a small idea has grown into a national effort, providing warmth and comfort to thousands in need. Today, crafters across the U.S.
