Ready to take crochet to the next level? Our AmiGroovy Project Camp is designed for kids who already know the basics of crochet and want to create a fun, complete amigurumi project over four days. If your child attended our July beginner camp, this is a perfect next step.

When & Where:

• Dates: July 14 – July 17

• Time: 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (afternoon session)

• Location: Craftique Studio, Cypress, TX

• A complete amigurumi creation (stuffed plushie)

Additional Details – AmiGroovy Project Camp

• Duration: 2.5 hours per day (includes short break + snack)

• Ages: 10+

• Class Size: Small for hands-on instruction and individualized support

• Materials: All materials included — yarn, hooks, stuffing, and embellishments

• Location: Craftique Studio – Cypress, TX

• Continuity: This camp is designed for students who have completed Learn to Crochet Camp or equivalent experience. It offers an opportunity to build on foundational skills and tackle a full amigurumi project.

• Skill Level: This camp is designed for kids who already have some basic crochet skills. If your child attended our June beginner camp, this is a perfect next step.

  To join, children should be comfortable with:

  • Single crochet

  • Chain stitches

  • Creating a slipknot

  We’ll do a quick skill check at the shop to make sure everyone is set up for success.

Assessment Required: 

• To ensure your child can successfully participate, an assessment is required prior to the camp. This will take place in the shop and confirm they can complete the project, all you need to do is come to the shop and ask us to do the assetment, you can come at any time during open hours, and needs to be completed by July 4.

  • If the assessment shows that the child is not ready, we will help transfer them to a Level 1 class or, if spots are still available, the Learn to Crochet Camp.

Enrollment & Deadlines

• Enrollment Closes: July 30th

• Assessment Must Be Completed By: July 4th

Please note: Students enrolling close to the deadline will need to complete the assessment quickly to secure their spot.

Tuition & Cancellation Policy

• Tuition: Full payment is due at registration to secure your child’s spot. Tuition is non-refundable.
• Cancellation / Rescheduling: If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days before the first day of camp. While tuition cannot be refunded, we can offer the option to transfer your child to the next available camp (space permitting).
• Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
• Commitment: By registering, you confirm your child’s attendance and agree to these terms.
