Ready to take crochet to the next level? Our AmiGroovy Summer Camp is designed for kids who already know the basics of crochet and are ready to create their very own complete amigurumi character from start to finish — in just 4 days!

If your child completed our Kids Crochet Bootcamp in June, this is their perfect next adventure. If they already know the basics from home or another class, this is where their skills truly come alive!

🧸 What Your Child Will Create:

Over four focused days campers will work through every step of building a complete amigurumi from scratch:

Day 1 — Getting Started Review foundational skills, learn the magic ring, and begin working in the round. Introduction to amigurumi construction and reading a pattern. 🎨 Project: Starting the body of their amigurumi character

Day 2 — Building the Character Practice increasing and decreasing to shape the body. Learn how to work individual pieces like heads, limbs, and ears. 🎨 Project: Completing major body parts

Day 3 — Assembly & Details Learn how to stuff, close, and sew pieces together. Add facial features, embellishments, and personality! 🎨 Project: Assembling their complete amigurumi character

Day 4 — Finishing Touches & Showcase Refine details, add any final embellishments, and proudly showcase their finished creation with family! 🎨 Project: Complete amigurumi ready to take home! 🧸

Location: Craftique Studio, Cypress, TX — welcoming families from Katy, Spring, Jersey Village, Copperfield, and the greater Houston area.

👧 Who Is This Camp For? This camp is perfect for kids ages 10+ who already have some basic crochet experience. Whether they completed our Kids Crochet Bootcamp in June or learned at home, this is their chance to level up and create something truly impressive!

This camp is also ideal for kids who learn differently. Miss Paige's background as a Cy-Fair ISD Special Needs Teacher means every child — regardless of learning style or pace — receives the patience, support, and encouragement they need to succeed and shine.

To join, your child should be comfortable with:

• Chain stitches
• Single crochet
• Creating a slipknot

📋 Assessment Required — Here's How It Works: To make sure every camper is set up for success, a brief skill assessment is required before camp begins:

• Simply visit Craftique Studio during open hours — no appointment needed!
• Our instructor will do a quick, friendly skill check — it only takes a few minutes
• Assessment must be completed by July 3rd
• If your child isn't quite ready yet, we'll help transfer them to our Kids Crochet Bootcamp or a Level 1 class instead — no stress, no pressure!

• Tuition is non-refundable
• Cancellations made at least 7 days before camp may be transferred to the next available session (space permitting)
• Cancellations with less than 7 days notice cannot be refunded or rescheduled
• By registering you confirm your child's attendance and agree to these terms
